The ASO Vortex can be used on either foot, and is extremely lightweight and low profile. It provides the user with stable strapping for enhanced protection of the ankle joint. It is composed of a durable nylon material, and is padded with CoolFlex™ material to provide added comfort. The Vortex differs from other ASO ankle stabililzers, due to the removal of fabric below the malleoli. This gives the foot some freedom, with the stabilizing straps acting as support below the heel.
